Experience
I have tutored for students of all ages, from grammar school to high school level. I currently am a sixth grade earth science teacher at Sparta Middle School, where I work with general education students and also inclusion students. I always excelled in Language Arts, Spanish, and Science growing up, and later on in high school, started to understand math (well, the elementary/middle school math!). I do enjoy geometry though! I want to be a tutor because I love being a teacher, and find that if I can help a student out in any way, shape or form, I will do it. I've done home instruction through SMS and enjoyed working with students of different grade levels. I love to learn and tutoring forces me to relearn a lot of the material that I need to master before helping someone else out!

I'm a very easy-going guy, who has a soft spot for dogs! I have worked as an Assistant Director for a Special Needs Camp in Wayne, NJ (that is another major passion of mine - helping out/working with students who have special needs). I like to bring a lot of humor into learning, and make students feel that it's okay to make a mistake. That's how the best inventions got to be...and not to mention, we learn best when we make a mistake!
